UGC Moderation Process

Status: Draft for pre-release app submission preparation.

Scope

This process covers user reports, message reports, objectionable content, harassment, spam, impersonation, and abuse.

Review SLA

Reports are reviewed within a 24-hour target window. Urgent abuse reports are prioritized.

Action ladder

• Dismiss invalid report.
• Warn the user.
• Remove content where applicable.
• Restrict or block abusive interactions.
• Delete accounts for severe or repeated abuse.

Evidence and retention

Message snapshots may be retained as moderation evidence when reported content or accounts are deleted. Resolved reports are retained for 180 days and then purged manually in V1.
